IFT19 (Institute of Food Technologists) Exhibition

The IFT19 (Institute of Food Technologists) show, the largest food related exhibition in the United States, was held at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans from Monday, June 3 to Wednesday, June 5.

JMC, participating at IFT for the second time following the exhibition in Chicago last year, focused on meeting customer needs and observing market trends through meetings with existing clients. We also actively engaged in meetings with companies that are using competitors’ products to create potential customers, open new accounts and promote JMC’s high-quality saccharin.

Through participation in the exhibition we were able to observe that JMC Saccharin was recognized as a high-quality product. In particular, we installed a promotional banner titled “World’s Highest Quality Saccharin” at the entrance of the exhibition hall. We also had our staff wearing JMC-branded T-shirts we got strong feedback from many visitors that our brand image was more clearly established. In addition, the saccharin-sweetened lemonade and the saccharin-based cotton candy tasting stations in the booth attracted many people’s interest and attention.

Following this IFT exhibition JMC was able to maintain contact with existing customers and we plan to conduct additional follow-up with newly discovered potential customers. We will continue to promote our product as the “World’s Highest Quality” in the US market and plan to continue our public relations activities to further solidify our position as the leading saccharin brand.

Saccharin box gets fancy

Our Saccharin boxes are getting some fancy wear. To more effectively identify our products we are introducing new labels and packaging which provides a consistent brand across our range.

We are pleased to introduce our new Saccharin carton box design. The design was implemented at the beginning of 2018. The new blue colored box contains all necessary information such as JMC’s factory information, emergency contact deatils, handling instructions and more. We hope our customers enjoy with our newly designed carton box. Please kindly be informed that there is no change in the material used to make the box nor to the PE liner which directly contacts the materials inside the box.

We also would like to introduce our new company slogan, Creating Sweetness and Pure Chemistry. This slogan highlights our main product, Saccharin while also referring to our key strength as a chemical manufacturer – we make highly pure, fine chemicals. We also put JMC’s company spirit into this slogan – our desire to create strong chemistry between JMC and our customers. Saccharin is introducing its own slogan, Beyond Sweetness. We go what’s beyond sweet saccharin to provide a “sweet connection” with our customers.

These slogans are printed on the box and will also used in any further JMC marketing channels.
